We all have that person in our lives that we would consider our first true love. For most of us, it is an experience that not only taught us about how to feel love but also how to feel heartbreak because most people don’t marry their first love. Well, Dara and Tony are the exception. They met in high school and he was her first true love. They moved on with their lives after high school but they reconnected after 10 years and the fire was still alive. They recently cemented their commitment to each other when they got married at the DeLoach Vineyards in Santa Rosa, California.
This was a classic, romantic affair in a rustic setting. Dara was a stunning bride in her strapless gown. Her jewelry choice was right on point and not over the top. Her hair style also complemented both the dress and her jewelry. She looked marvelous. She deviated from tradition with her electric blue shoes. However, the rest of the bridal party were less traditional.
The groom and his groomsmen did not wear tuxedos or suits. They wore blue checkered shirts with vests. They definitely fit the venue. The bridesmaids did not wear gowns or even the same dresses. They blended together very well and the whole group looked fantastic.
At the reception, the guests were treated to a blend of classic, modern and rustic. The tables were decorated very simply but had a classic, elegant feel. The table seating was written on a chalkboard and they had a table where there was a collage of various pictures of the happy couple.
Dara and Tony definitely embraced their surroundings on their wedding. The lush landscape of the vineyard was a wonderful backdrop. They planned the day of their dreams to culminate a relationship that had started long before. They will now start their lives as one. What a great story?
